Re-do of M101 (4-8-10)
This is a re-process of M101 with the colors mostly figured out. This is a test to see how well it looks on several other monitors. Which is better, top or bottom?
Thanks for the feedback, Bill. Monitor calibration is such a concern. I post these images and then go in the other room to look at them on another monitor. Then I go to work and see them differently on the one at work. Toshiba, LG, HP ..., and individual settings matter even more. I visited my mother's place some time ago and discovered that her monitor was so dim she was not seeing the images. Wish I had a solution almost as much as I wish I could chase away clouds.

I like the bottom one more. They're both good, but I think it looks more natural.
Thanks, Rory. That's what I needed to know. Others have said the same.
On my 24" Dell FP display, the top one seems to have a darker background. Otherwise, they're both equally sharp.

The color seems to stand out in the top one a bit more then the bottom one.
I think you are right. Thanks for the feedback!
At this point, I've decided what I really need to improve this is more and better data. For that, I'll have to wait till next year.
